NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney is officially taking his talents from the oval track directly to your screen. The Team Penske superstar just debuted a brand new, YouTube-exclusive series titled On The Gas, completely redefining the standard celebrity interview format. Instead of sitting on a comfortable studio couch, Blaney is strapping his A-list guests into the passenger seat of a high-performance track car and conducting some of the most unconventional, adrenaline-fueled interviews in motorsports.
High Speeds and Hot Seats
The premise of On The Gas is as simple as it is terrifying for the guests: try to answer Blaney’s rapid-fire questions while he aggressively navigates tight corners and straightaways at breakneck speeds. The resulting footage is an incredible mix of genuine panic, hilarious reactions, and surprisingly candid conversations.
- The Vibe: Think Hot Ones meets Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, but injected with pure NASCAR horsepower.
- The Unfiltered Reactions: Because the guests are actively fighting G-forces and bracing for turns, their media-trained filters completely drop, leading to authentic and hilarious answers you won’t hear on late-night television.
- Blaney’s Charm: While his guests are holding on for dear life, Blaney remains cool, calm, and collected, effortlessly drifting through corners while asking deeply researched questions about their latest projects.
A Massive Crossover Moment for NASCAR
This YouTube-exclusive project serves as a brilliant crossover moment for NASCAR, exposing the sport to a massive new pop-culture audience. By bringing actors, musicians, and digital creators into his world, Blaney is successfully bridging the gap between high-octane racing and mainstream entertainment.
Whether you are a die-hard racing fan looking to see Blaney shred some tires, or just a pop-culture junkie wanting to see your favorite celebrities completely lose their cool at 150 miles per hour, this series delivers on all fronts.
